The HONOR Pad X7b is starting to hit stores worldwide. It’s a modest tablet, but this time it at least features a fairly decent 9.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2052 x 1152 pixels, 500 nits of brightness, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and an extra layer of protective glass against impacts.
This tablet comes with Android 16 out of the box, along with the MagicOS 10 interface, which includes a dedicated safe space for children called Honor Kids. Its processor is the now-classic Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 octa-core chip, which, with its nearly 475,000 points on AnTuTu v11, will deliver adequate performance for most apps and games. For storage, there are versions with 64/128 GB, expandable via microSD up to 2 TB, and 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
In terms of wireless connectivity, it features Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, an 8,000 mAh battery, a 5 MP main camera with LED flash, and a 5 MP front-facing camera. As for physical ports, it features a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, as well as a 3.5 mm audio jack for connecting headphones.
Finally, it’s worth noting that it will be available in a version with 4G-LTE connectivity, and its metal unibody weighs 447 grams and is MIL-STD-810H military certified.
