This compact computer features the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX470 processor, a chip with 12 cores and 24 threads that now reach 5.2 GHz and includes a dedicated AI core capable of delivering 55 TOPS of performance. The integrated graphics engine is the Radeon 890M GPU, which features cores based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture, delivering high performance. As added features, it also includes four simultaneous video outputs and two 2.5G Ethernet ports for setting up a local server.
This mini PC features two USB4 ports with speeds up to 40 Gbps, allowing you to connect an eGPU at maximum performance. This is a great bonus that lets you play any demanding AAA title.

Powering the MINIX ER947-IA is the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processor, manufactured by TSMC using an efficient 4-nm process. This 12-core chip features 4 powerful Zen 5 cores and 8 power-efficient Zen 5C cores, with 24 threads and a clock speed of up to 5.2 GHz. Naturally, it includes a 55 TOPS AI core for artificial intelligence tasks. It features a Radeon 890M GPU based on the new RDNA 3.5 architecture, with 16 compute units (CUs). It uses vapor chamber cooling to keep temperatures in check.
Internally, it features 32/64 GB of LPDDR5X RAM running at 8000 MHz, with support for up to 128 GB. For storage, it includes two M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0×4 SSD slots supporting up to 8 TB.
Ports and Operating System
In terms of networking, it features Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. On the exterior, it has a 3.5 mm audio jack, three USB-A 3.2 ports, two full-featured USB4 ports, and two 2.5 GB Ethernet ports. For video output, it features one HDMI 2.1 port, one DisplayPort 2.0 port, and two USB4 ports with DP 2.1 video output supporting 8K@60 HDR10, allowing you to connect up to four displays simultaneously.
This computer comes with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed, but you can also install Linux. It includes a small external power supply, VESA mounting for attaching it to a monitor, and a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button for easy access to Windows.
