MINIX introduces a new compact solution for on-premises AI with its new MINIX T4000 and MINIX T5000 Generative AI Mini Workstations.
These two systems are designed for the on-premises execution of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI workloads in a fully private manner, without relying on the cloud. Both workstations feature industrial-grade modules from the NVIDIA Jetson platform based on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, cooled by an advanced Twin Turbo Intercooler thermal system, and running on the Ubuntu 24.04 LTS enterprise operating system (NVIDIA JetPack 7.1).
With extremely compact dimensions of just 139.3 × 131 × 76.8 mm and a weight of only 1.4 kg, you can fit it anywhere.

MINIX T4000 and T5000 with NVIDIA Blackwell SoC
On the hardware side, the MINIX T4000 features a 12-core Arm Neoverse-V3AE processor, 64 GB of LPDDR5X memory running at 4,266 MHz (273 GB/s bandwidth) and a 1,536-core Blackwell GPU with 5th-generation Tensor Cores capable of reaching up to 1,200 TFLOPS in Sparse FP4 format, ideal for smoothly running on-premises AI models with between 7B and 30B parameters.
For its part, the flagship MINIX T5000 model raises the bar with a 14-core CPU, a 2,560-core Blackwell GPU, and 128 GB of LPDDR5X memory, delivering a raw performance of up to 2,070 Sparse FP4 TFLOPs capable of processing language models with up to 70B parameters on-device.

Storage and Connectivity
In terms of professional-grade storage and connectivity, both devices feature a 1 TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD (expandable up to 4 TB), dual ultra-high-speed 10GbE Ethernet ports for enterprise networks or NAS storage, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and dual HDMI 2.1 video outputs compatible with 4K resolutions at 60 Hz. In terms of physical connectivity, the devices also include a front-facing USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port and four USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports on the back.
Designed for developers, businesses, and research labs, these mini workstations offer native support for tools such as CUDA, TensorRT, and NVIDIA NIM—a compact machine designed for desktop AI infrastructure.
Price and Availability
- The prices of the MINIX T4000 and T5000 are sure to turn heads, at $7,900 and $12,000, respectively.
