The HAKO 3539Y is one of the most affordable TV-Boxes featuring the latest Rockchip RK3539 processor, which, on paper, appears to be designed to compete with the Amlogic S905X5m. By the way, this box appears to be YouTube-certified, so the YouTube app should work flawlessly.
The RK3539 is a quad-core chip with ARM Cortex-A55 processors clocked at up to 1.92 GHz. Its iGPU is an ARM Mali-G310, likely running at 1 GHz the same one used in the well-known Amlogic S905X5M. This processor comes with support for AV1 and HDR10 and, at the very least, appears to offer a significant boost in graphics performance compared to other solutions from this brand, such as the RK3528, which uses a much older GPU the ARM Mali-450. As always, heat dissipation in this box is handled passively, so there will be no noise whatsoever.
This media player is available in versions with 2/4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16/32 GB of eMMC storage. The HAKO 3539Y also features Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.
The ports available on its small, square plastic case include two USB 2.0 ports, one USB-C port, an SPDIF audio port, an HDMI 2.0 video output, and a 10/100 RJ45 Ethernet port.
The operating system is Android TV 14, and the accessories include a Bluetooth remote control with a microphone for use with any voice assistant or voice commands. As always, it’s best not to count on updates for these types of very inexpensive players.
