Today we found in Aliexpress one of the few TV-Stick with Android that are seen lately in stores, this time with the name of A95X D1.
This Stick stands out only for its small size, since we can connect it directly to an HDMI port. The rest of its features are very weak, as we have only Android 8.1 as a system and a SoC Amlogic S905W, only suitable for TV’s with FullHD resolution and where we will not need much power. A Stick little recommended both by price and by benefits, since it is to the tail in all the senses.
SoC, RAM and storage
The Stick with Android A95X D1 integrates as for hardware the SoC of Amlogic S905W, a Quad Core with processors ARM Cortex-A53 and a GPU MALI-450MP5. It has on board 1/2 GB of DDR3 RAM, 8/16 GB of eMMc storage memory and a micro SD card reader located on the side of the black plastic box that allows us to increase its internal storage.
Other features
In the area of wireless connectivity we have Wi-Fi b/g/n with internal antenna and Bluetooth. As for connectors this mini Smart Box includes 1 USB 3.0 port, another USB 2.0 port, HDMI 2.0 port, sensor extender for the IR remote and a micro USB port for power.
