New box with Android of entry range that reaches stores after the break of the Chinese New Year, this time under the name of A95X F1. A Box faithful to its low range with a fairly modest hardware but enough to use it as a mediaplayer on TV with FHD resolution. To highlight some of its minimalist design we look at its top that integrates a small LED panel that we hope can be turned off from the remote.
SoC, RAM and storage
The Box A95X F1 includes as central engine the SoC of Amlogic, the S905W that integrates in its interior four CPU cores ARM Cortex-A53 capable of reaching up to 1.5GHz and a GPU Mali-450mp5 that decodes video up to 4K @ 30fps resolutions. This available includes 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16GB of eMMc storage memory, which can be expanded thanks to the microSD card reader included on one side.
At the level of wireless connectivity this box only has b/g/n Wi-Fi with internal antenna, typical of these low-end equipment. As connectors we have an HDMI 2.0 interface, SPDIF digital audio port, two USB 2.0 ports, analog AV output and a 10/100 RJ45 network port distributed on the sides of the black plastic case.
The operating system is Android 7.1.2 and is also delivered with an IR remote control, a power adapter with the right adapter for our region and an HDMI video cable.
