Unveiled at the IA trade show, the powerful Acemagic F9A Pro mini PC a version of the F9A featuring the 395 APU offers greater overall computing power.
This update features faster RAM and increased TOPS for AI. The case includes four long-range microphones and two built-in speakers, making it perfect for meeting rooms, and it features RGB lighting to set the mood in the room. It features the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 495 processor with 16 cores and 32 threads, clocking up to 5.2 GHz, and an AI core with 55 TOPS of processing power. For graphics, it includes the Radeon 8060S GPU with 40 cores a pretty powerful component.
This compact PC can also be used as a workstation or for local AI. All of this comes at a price, of course, and it’s not exactly cheap, depending on the amount of RAM it’s equipped with.
Acemagic F9A Pro Specifications
The new APU installed is the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 495, manufactured using efficient 4-nm technology; this is what powers the system. This is a 16-core, 32-thread chip with Zen 5 technology that reaches speeds of up to 5.2 GHz and incorporates a 55 TOPS AI core for artificial intelligence tasks, reaching 131 TOPS when combined with the CPU. It features the 40-core Radeon 8060S iGPU, which can handle fairly demanding games.
The total RAM integrated on the board is 128 GB of LPDDR5 at 8533 MHz in an octa-channel configuration, which provides speed to the integrated GPU. For storage, there are two slots for M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0×4 SSDs, allowing for up to 4 TB of storage if desired.
Connectivity and Other Features
In terms of wireless connectivity, it features an adapter with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Among its extensive array of ports, we have a 3.5 mm jack, an SD card slot, multiple USB-A 3.2 ports, two USB4 ports, an OCULINK connector for an external GPU, a USB-A 2.0 port, a DC port, and two 2.5 GB Ethernet ports. For video output, you can use two HDMI 2.1 ports with supportfor 8K@60 HDR; combined with the USB4 ports, you can connect up to four displays simultaneously.
On the front panel, there are four microphones for voice commands, and it features two built-in 2W speakers for high-quality sound. It comes with Windows 11, but you can also install Linux if that better suits your needs. By default, it comes with a 140 W power supply to ensure maximum performance.
