The new ACEMAGIC Retro X3 mini PC has been officially unveiled, a computer that stands out for its retro case and interesting hardware configuration.
A mini PC that is currently only available in China stands out for its vintage design, emulating a Western NES. Although it seems that the level of copying that was initially shown has been reduced so as not to conflict with Nintendo’s lawyers, who are quite aggressive with their IP. A machine that will also be available in a retro PS1 version with the ACEMAGIC Retro X5. Inside this computer is the AMD Ryzen 7 H 255 Octa Core processor, which allows us to run all kinds of programs and games without any problems, adjusting details by adding FSR.
Apart from the design, we also find a good number of connectors, including USB4, which allows us to get good performance out of an eGPU.

ACEMAGIC Retro X3 specifications
Inside this retro PC, we find an AMD Ryzen 7 255 Octa Core processor manufactured in4 nmwithZen4 technology. An Octa Core with sixteen threads, a maximum speed of5.1 GHz, and an NPU with 58 TOPS. It includes a powerful 12-core Radeon 780M iGPU that reaches a speed of 2.6 GHz. This hardware allows us to run any demanding design app that requires heavy processing.
In terms of RAM, we have two DDR5 SODIMM 5600 MHz in Dual Channel up to 128 GB capacity. For storage, we have two connectors for M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe4.0 SSDs, giving us up to 8 TB.
Ports and operating system
For wireless networking, we have Wi-Fi 6and Bluetooth 5.2. Connectors include a 3.5 mm audio jack, four USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, a full USB4 port, and a 2.5 GB Ethernet network port . For video outputs, we have an HDMI 2.1, a DisplayPort 2.0, and USB4 with DP 2.1 video output with 8K@60 HDR10 support, which gives us the possibility of connecting up to 3 simultaneous displays if we want.
This small computer comes with Windows 11 Pro, but we can also install Linux. It comes with a small external power supply and VESA mount for hanging it on a monitor.
