Today we have the heir of the popular ACPC AK1 miniPC that we saw some time ago in his review, a new team called ACEPC GK1 that maintains the same external appearance as its predecessor but this time it incorporates an Intel processor from the Gemini Lake family. the Celeron N4100 with the improvements it brings to performance level. In the rest of the hardware improvements seem to be only at the level of connectivity because now we find WiFi aC, Bluetooth 4.2 and as a novelty two HDMI ports, although you lose the USB Type-C we had in the previous model.
Processor, RAM and storage
The ACPC GK1 mini PC includes the Intel Celeron N4100 processor with 4 x86 cores capable of reaching 2.40Ghz in turbo mode and includes an Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 12EU and a maximum speed of 700mhz that is capable of playing 4K video @ 60fps although this miniPC seems to only have an HDMI 1.4 output with which the maximum output resolution would be only 4K@30fps. The RAM is 4 GB DDR4 not expandable while at the storage level we have an internal bay for disks 2.5″ removable, a very interesting option for expansion, we also have an mSATA slot on the motherboard.
Other specifications
ACEPC GK1 includes WiFi wireless connectivity with internal antenna and Bluetooth 4.2. At the port level we have 2 USB 2.0 ports, 2 USB 3.0 ports, micro SD card reader, 2 HDMI 1.4 ports, Gigabit network connector and audio jack. The pre-installed operating system is Windows 10 Home.
