The new Acer Iconia Duo D12 tablet has just been unveiled; this new device from the Taiwanese brand will soon be available on the global market. This tablet stands out for its screen, as, in addition to its high resolution, it has a 3:2 aspect ratio, allowing us to get the most out of it if we want to use it as a small laptop beyond typical multimedia use.
The 12.2-inch IPS display has a resolution of 2880 x 1840 pixels, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and is stylus-compatible. Inside, it features the well-known MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor, which scores around 550,000 points on Antutu 11 and is paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128 GB of UFS storage, which can be expanded with microSD cards up to 1 TB in capacity.
Inside its all-metal chassis, we also find Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, a 5 MP front camera, an 8 MP main camera, and an 8,000 mAh battery that provides up to 10 hours of battery life. For connectivity, there is a USB Type-C 2.0 port compatible with PD 2.0 fast charging; the tablet runs on Android 16 and measures 277.75 × 191.34 × 7.5 mm. Finally, for audio, it features a pair of stereo speakers.
