Environment and user experience

The performance of this rugged AGM G3 Pro is fluid thanks to its 12 GB of RAM and its Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Octa Core SoC allows us to run apps or games in medium quality adequately. We have not noticed performance losses and we have not seen forced closures of apps.

Power and performance of the AGM G3 Pro

In terms of performance the AGM G3 Pro features the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 SoC manufactured in 4nm. This is an Octa Core 4x Corte-A78 2.5 GHz and 6x Corte-A55 2.0 GHz, in the graphics section a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU which is in the mid-range. We can play demanding titles like Genshin Impact and games on emulators emulators up to Gamecube / PS2 in not very demanding games, you can try Retroarch for Android.

Battery and temperature

As we checked the AGM G3 Pro we have a 10,000 mAh battery, the autonomy is quite good. It all depends on the use of screen, app used, time of use of the external speaker or the thermal camera.

  • Recharging: Basic charging at 33 W / Charger included / Wireless charging 18 W.

Integrated into the AGM G3 Pro is a thermal camera that works directly from its app. The 512×384 resolution gives us a high level of detail. We can see in detail for example how the components of a board heat up and detect shorts or similar. It can also be used to detect heat leaks or spot animals in the undergrowth.

Cameras, speaker and LED light

In the camera section the AGM G3 Pro offers a combination of 64 MP main camera SONY IMX682 (1/1.73″), wide-angle macro 2 MP and 50 MP front. We highlight the LED camping light that illuminates any dark room or path without problems. The 5 W speaker can reach a peak of 116 dB, much higher than any conventional smartphone speaker.

As we can see from the photo results we find decent cameras. In dark scenes it works once if we turn on its powerful or LED. The video result is good with 1080p60 max resolution, but not amazing overall. The front camera results are quite good.

For video playback the AGM G3 Pro has a VPU that supports codecs up to AV1. The system supports 2K resolution and HDR content but the power of the screen does not reflect it. We can use players like KODI or PLEX correctly.
