Unboxing of the AGM Legion
As we can see the new AGM Legion arrives in a cardboard box, inside we have enough protections so that it is not damaged in transport. It comes with a manual and USB-A magnetic charging cable.
Description
The new AGM Legion Smartwatch offers us an attractive design that stands out for its rounded case. We have a large circular AMOLED touch screen of 1.43″ that occupies the front and on the back we find the measurement sensors in contact with our wrist. The bracelet has dimensions of 47 x 12 mm and the set weighs 35 grams which makes it quite light in daily use.
The AGM Legion comes with a silicone strap with adjustments for all types of wrists, this can be easily replaced with another compatible one. We have two designs in black or white. We have two physical buttons to control the system, selection wheel and sport mode button. We have integrated microphone to answer calls from the watch via Bluetooth.
On the back we find two magnetic charging points and sensor readers installed. This IP68 and MIL – STD810H certified design is waterproof which is submersible up to 5 ATM and is designed for everyday wetting or water sports. The charging cable attaches to the watch easily and connects to any charger via its USB Type-A end.
Management and configuration
Front screen
On the AMOLED screen of the AGM Legion we have basic information and we can change the design with the dials included by default or in the app that we can download. On the watch we have time, steps, date and heart rate indicator. We have 4-way gestures that give us direct access to different functions.
The AGM Legion has a touch screen, is an AMOLED has 1.43″, occupies much of the front and has a resolution 450 x 390, the image is of high quality and clear definition of elements. The brightness power is sufficient for indoors, but suffers outdoors if there is very intense light, by default is activated the auto-on if we turn the wrist. We can disable the effect of turning the wrist and turn it on manually with the side button.
Control application
It is possible to control the AGM Legion Smartwatch with its management app called AGM Nexus which is available for download. On the main screen we have access to four main sections, an overview in the Home section , physical activity control in Exercise, different watch settings in the Device section and our personal data in My. The control app as we can see comes in Spanish and the translation of the app is quite good.
- App for smartphones available on Android or iOS.
- It has support for unlocking cell phones with Smart Lock.
In the Device section you can find all the settings of our user profile. In these settings we can activate different reminders, screen control by raising the hand, alarm clock, change dials and we can also access the firmware update. We can also have notifications on screen directly, for example WhatsApp notifications are read perfectly.
- Notifications: We can read text messages for WhatsApp and similar / It has vibration.
- Calls: We have call notification and voice response via Bluetooth.
Battery
In the AGM Legion Smartwatch we have a 300 mAh lithium battery, which with moderate use of the screen (we recommend disabling the automatic power on when turning the wrist) can last about 9-15 days per charge. If we use it intensively with its sensors it is possible that it lasts less. The control app does not give problems in the battery of our mobile, as far as we have checked.
Integrated sensors and GPS
On the back of the AGM Legion we have heart rate and O2 level in blood, this enters continuous mode when we choose a sport activity profile. We also have pedometer and sleep control, all these data are approximate as happens in all Smartwatch. We also have GPS to use it in the watch without having to spend battery of our mobile, but it does not have its own maps.
- Heart rate monitor: We have continuous or punctual measurement for daily use.
- Sports: 100 different activities available.

Review
After testing the AGM Legion smartwatch we can say that it is a comfortable device in general. A positive point of this smartwatch is its AMOLED screen, which for example allows us to clearly read WhatsApp notifications or answer calls by Bluetooth voice. We also have a fairly long autonomy so we do not have to be recharging continuously and integrated GPS to get our position.
The AGM Legion includes a fairly intuitive and uncomplicated management software, the Spanish translation is quite good. The watch body with IP68 and MIL – STD810H protection allows submersion up to 5 ATM and seems quite waterproof for nautical activities. The two physical push buttons on its side allow us to unlock it and precisely control the menus.
This AGM Legion smartwatch is a product with AMOLED screen and resistant. For the price at which you can get it is a good alternative if we are looking for something similar.
