Today we found a new version of the AK1 Plus in stores, a low-priced mini PC with several versions on the market and this time including an Intel N100 processor.
A mini PC with a well-known design that incorporates blue LED lighting and where at the bottom we have a dock to install a 2.5″ storage unit and a size of only 13 x 13 x 5.2. As we say, this version makes the leap to a Quad Core Intel N100 processor with a consumption of only 6W and that will give us good performance when running Windows, running office programs, browsing or playing multimedia in any format.
AK1 Plus Specifications
Inside this new version of the AK1 Plus mini PC we find a 12th generation Intel N100 processor manufactured in 10 nm and with a maximum consumption of 6 W. This chip is a Quad Core with four threads and speeds up to 3.4 GHz. The GPU is an arriving 24EU Intel Core UHD GPU is clocked at 750 MHz. A processor suitable for desktop use, light gaming, industrial work, digital signage, and medium-load design applications.
For RAM, we have 8 GB DDR4, and it seems that it can be expanded up to 16 GB. For storage, we have an 256 GB SSD, and we find space for a second storage unit in the lower dock of up to 2 TB capacity.
Other features
For wireless connectivity within the AK1 Plus we have an adapter with Dual Band Wi-Fi aC and Bluetooth 4.2. As for ports, we find on the sides of the small box a 3.5 mm audio jack, an RJ45 Gigabit network connector, two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 and two HDMI 2.0 outputs that allow video resolutions of up to 4K@60fps.
The included operating system is Windows 11 PRO, it is compatible with Linux distributions and includes an external power supply and a small VESA mount to discreetly install this mini PC behind any TV or monitor.
