Today we find on Amazon the new AK1 Plus N97 mini PC that surprises us by the inclusion of the low power Intel N97 processor launched earlier this 2023.
A processor that until now we had not seen in any mini PC and that according to its name would be at performance level between the Intel N95 and Intel N100. However, we see that the Intel N97 has a TPD of 12 W which doubles that of the Intel N100 (6W) and higher processor speeds and graphics, so the Intel N97 would have to be above the Intel N100 despite its nomenclature.
Regarding the rest of the AK1 Plus N97 hardware, this time it is worth mentioning the presence of Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, an improvement over previous versions. The connectors and case with LED lighting and a dock at the bottom to install a 2.5″ storage unit are also maintained.
AK1 Plus N97 Specifications
Inside this new version of the NiPoGi AK1 Plus N97 mini PC we find a 12th generation Intel N97 processor manufactured in 10 nm and with a maximum power consumption of 12W. This chip is a Quad Core with four threads and speed up to 3.6 GHz. The GPU is an Intel Core UHD GPU with 24EU up to a speed of 1.2 Ghz. A processor suitable for desktop use, light gaming, industrial work, digital signage and design applications in medium load.
For RAM we have 16 GB DDR4 at 3200 Mhz. For storage we find a 512 GB SSD and space for a second storage unit in the lower dock up to 2 TB capacity.
Other notable features
For wireless connectivity inside the AK1 Plus N97 we have an adapter with Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. In terms of ports we find on the sides of the small box a 3.5mm audio jack, a RJ45 Gigabit network connector, two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 and two HDMI 2.0 outputs that allow to output video resolutions up to 4K @ 60fps.
The included operating system is Windows 11 PRO, it is compatible with Linux distributions and includes an external power supply and a small VESA bracket to discreetly install this mini PC behind any TV or monitor.
