New passive mini PC with low consumption Alder Lake-N up to Core i3-N305

They begin to arrive in mini PC stores with Alder Lake-N processors manufactured in 10 nm (Intel 7) and today we found a passive one with up to Intel Core i3-N305 and DDR5 memory.

A totally passive mini PC (0 noise) with a case made of aluminium that works as a great heatsink. Inside we find a good variety of Intel Alder Lake-N processors that have good performance for light tasks, multimedia, office automation of all kinds or network operations.

Thanks to its four 2.5 GB Ethernet ports and the Intel i226-V controller, this mini PC can be a good solution for companies or users who want to set up a network without limitations, we can get the most out of this aspect and use it to manage the security of networks.

Specifications

In this mini PC we have several options, the most powerful with an Intel Core i3-N305 manufactured in 10nm and with a TDP of 15W. This Chip is an Octa Core with eight threads, clocked up to 3.8 GHz. The GPU is a 32EU Intel Core UHD GPU clocked at 1.25 GHz.

We have other more modest options with the INTEL N95, N100 and N200.

This mini PC can be purchased in a barebone format without RAM and storage, but we also have versions with different RAM and storage. On the board we find a slot for a DDR5 SO-DIMM module up to 5600Mhz and for storage we have two connectors for SSD M.2 NVMe 2280 PCI 3.0 x4 and a SATA3 for a 2.5″ drive.

Other features

As for wireless connectivity, we have the option of mounting an internal adapter with a Wi-Fi+Bluetooth module on its M.2 connector. On the perimeter of the box we find four USB 2.0 ports, a micro SD card reader, four 2.5GB network ports with Intel i226-V controller, an HDMI 2.1 output and a DisplayPort 1.4, both with support for 4K@60 video output. This mini computer is compatible with Windows 11 and Linux and includes an external power supply and ground connection. We have optional VESA support, as well as PXE and WOL remote power on, among other options.
