The Alfawise brand already has a large catalog of projectors, the latest to add to this family is the Alfawise A12 Plus, a device with lower specifications than the previous model Alfawise X 3200 that we saw recently in a review, although its price is also quite lower. This model has a version that includes Android 6.0 as an operating system and as a core we have the AMlogic S905X Quad Core SoC, enough to play multimedia content of all kinds directly from the projector but with only 1GB of RAM something that limits the use of apps heavy.
Projector specifications
Alfawise A12 Plus has a projector with LCD technology with a native resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels, luminosity of 2000 Lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. The focus is manual, includes automatic trapezoidal correction and we can get a screen between 34 “and 130” with a range of projection that goes between 3 to 13 feets (1 and 4 meters). In the chassis is plastic with physical controls at the top, we also find cos two speakers, two IR receivers and is cooled by an internal fan.
Android and other features
Installed in Alfawise A12 Plus in its Android version we find the Amlogic S905X SoC as a engine, a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a Mali-450mp5 GPU with very good media player capabilities that is perfect for a projector in this range. It also includes 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage memory, Dual Band wifi with internal antenna and Bluetooth 4.0. In terms of connectivity, this equipment has a USB 2.0 port, VGA, HDMI input connector, antenna input (analog, not compatible with DVB-T2) and analog connectors for audio and video.
