Today we found on AliExpress a new Android Box called T95Z PLUS that surprises us by including the new Allwinner H618 SoC, a chip that we had no news about until now.
The Allwinner H618 is a new SoC that is likely to be a variant of the Allwinner H616, since the variants are minimal. The main change we find is the adoption of Android 12 as the operating system for a box, that reuses a box design that we have already seen on other occasions.
Highlight its wireless connectivity with WIFI 6 and the presence of small LED bars on its perimeter that change colour, and we hope they are customizable from an app.
T95Z PLUS Specs
Inside the Box T95Z PLUS we have an Allwinner H618 SoC whose manufacturing process we do not know. This is a chip that integrates 4 ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.5 Ghz and an ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU.
We have a version of this Smart Box with 2/4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16/32/64 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can expand thanks to the micro SD card slot that it includes on one of its sides where we can theoretically insert up to 64 GB capacity cards
Other features
In the field of wireless connectivity, we have Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. As connectors, we find in its plastic case 2 USB 2.0 ports, a micro USB OTG, SPDIF digital audio output, a 10/100 network connector, analogue audio and video output jack and an HDMI 2.0a video output port that allows us to take video without problems up to 4K @ 60fps resolutions.
A basic IR remote control, power supply and HDMI cable are delivered with the T95Z PLUS to be able to start using this Box just by taking it out of the box and connecting it to our TV.
Price and availability
- The T95Z PLUS TV-Box with the new Allwinner H618 SoC can be purchased on AliExpress from $48 with free shipping.
- A price that will undoubtedly go down in the coming days.

Tb estou com problema nessa box… não arrumei o firmware ainda.
Are you guys no longer doing Android TV boxes reviews? I haven’t seen any review in a while.
When something interesting comes up we will do… but now the chinese boxes are frozen in the same SoCs.
Also the Android TV certified devices are more interesting, but had few releases in those past month’s.
Ok I got it!
If case you get hands on this box, I’d like to know the WIFI 6 Data Link Speed. I tried to find the chip specs but no Data Link info was shown. Thanks.
Really Allwinner? A53 in 2022? Maybe put some A7 cores in the next one because who cares anyway.
Amlogic has much better offerings with their SOCs.
