Interesting mini PC that we came across today on AliExpress that conjures up a very attractive and compact design, only 123x123x40 mm, with good connectivity and expansion options.
Inside this mini PC called AM02 we have an unusual chip in this type of small computers, an AMD Athlon 300U APU manufactured in 14 nm and with a TDP of only 15W that guarantees us an agile use of Windows with any office suite, for navigation, 4K media player and even some simple games. It stands out as we say by the presence of two SO-DIMM slots, its storage expansion capacity or its multiple ports that include a pair of video outputs up to 4K resolutions at 60 fps.
A highly recommended mini PC within its category and complete considering its price and comparing it with the options with Intel Celeron that mount an Intel HD GPU inferior to all levels.
Processor, RAM and storage
The AM02 mini PC includes an AMD Athlon 300U APU, a Dual Core chip that reaches 3.3 Ghz of turbo speed and 2.4 Ghz of base speed, and also incorporates an AMD Radeon RX Vega 3 GPU.
For RAM we have versions with 8 / 16 GB of DDR4 RAM in Dual Channel in two SODIMM slots while for storage it includes an M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD of 128/256/512 GB and 1TB of capacity, and it seems that another SATA3 connector for 2.5-inch drives.
