The Amazon A3Z Pro processor that integrates the new Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11 is intended to optimize the home experience with Alexa Plus. It is a processor customized exclusively by this company to optimize AI functions and improve control interfaces such as Matter, Thread and Zigbee. All signals from the cameras and sensors of these new devices will be optimized by the SoC, a product that is presented as a smart home hub.
On the other hand, the new Amazon Echo Dot and Echo Studio also use the A3Z and A3Z Pro respectively. Two products that improve specifications and change the exterior design.
Amazon Echo Show with Amazon A3Z Pro SoC
For surveillance and home automation control of our home we have two solutions with the same SoC Amazon A3Z Pro. In a smaller format we have the Echo Show 8 that offers an 8-inch IPS screen with 720p resolution. If we want more screen we can go to the Echo Show 11 model that offers us an 11-inch touch panel with 1080p resolution. The bezels are now narrower and we have an integrated 13 MP camera.
If we want to change the angle of the screen we have to buy a separate magnetic stand. It also integrates seamlessly with the new Amazon Ring surveillance camera.

Amazon Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio 2025
Amazon Echo speakers also offer us a new design. The Echo Dot Max model is offered with the Amazon A3Z processor, inside it mounts 1 tweeter of 0.8″, 1 woofer of 2.5″. The more powerful Echo Studio integrates the more powerful Amazon A3Z Pro, in terms of sound it offers 1 high excursion woofer of 3.75″, 3 full range drivers of 1.5″ and is compatible with Dolby Atmos.
