Amazon continues to increase its catalog of tablets specifically dedicated to children with its new model Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Edition. A tablet that as its name suggests has a 10-inch screen and that is basically the a Amazon Fire HD with a large and colorful protective case, an extended warranty that covers most domestic accidents, one-year access to exclusive Amazon children’s content and a wide range of parental controls in the software. An interesting tablet that completes the previous Kids Edition of 7 and 8 inches.
Processor, RAM and storage
Regarding the hardware the Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Edition includes a solvent SoC Quad Core of Mediatek MT8173 with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage memory although we have a microSD card reader to extend it. A configuration with which we can run any app or game without problems.
Screen and other specifications
The screen is a 10.1-inch IPS with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels that includes ambient light sensor and a camera with a microphone of 0.3MP that complements the back of 2MP. It also includes a 6300 mAh battery, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0 and in terms of connectivity we have a audio jack and a microUSB port for data and charging.
The software is FireOS based on Android and includes the voice assistant Alexa, we have a parental control app that makes a full report of everything that has viewed our son and the time spent.
