Amazon Signage Stick, Amazon’s foray into digital signage, is now available

Amazon is entering the world of digital signage with its Amazon Signage Stick, a small device that makes it very easy to stream video wirelessly in professional settings and is managed through an app.

Amazon Signage Stick SpecsSetup is done through Amazon’s free app, which is compatible with the vast majority of CMS (Content Management System) platforms and features a native kiosk mode. Through the app, you can create multiple profiles, conveniently manage different locations from a central location, and monitor the performance of the various Amazon Signage sticks you’ve added. Simply connect the stick to any TV or monitor and configure it via the app to get it up and running quickly.

On the hardware side, the Amazon Signage Stick features a quad-core processor clocked at up to 2.0 GHz, with 2 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. For wireless connectivity, it features Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. As for ports, it only has an HDMI 1.2 port and a power port with an outdated microUSB interface; it seems Amazon hasn’t caught on yet that USB-C ports exist, which are much more convenient and durable.

A remote control with dual Bluetooth and infrared data transmission technology is also included.
