AMD Ryzen 5 3400GE appears again in another Chinese mini PC


Chinese manufacturers finally seem determined to flood the market with low-consumption miniPCs with AMD Ryzen processors, since these last days we do not stop seeing new models in AliExpress and other stores.

Today we located a new Chinese mini PC that has different AMD Ryzen processor options, including one with a Ryzen 5 3400GE, a processor that we saw days ago in another miniPC, although at a higher price. This APU is manufactured in 12nm and incorporates a Radeon Vega 11 GPU and with a consumption of only 35 W TPD, the normal 3400G version reaches 65 W. Otherwise a mini PC with a traditional design and that includes good options, considering its size, to install RAM and storage units.

SoC, RAM and storage

The TOPTON mini PC includes an AMD Ryzen 5 3400GE APU, a Quad Core with Eight threads manufactured in 12nm with processors that reach up to 4.0 GHz and that includes a powerful Radeon Vega 11 GPU, the consumption of this APU is only 35 W and mount an internal fan to cool it. This mini PC includes inside two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots and for storage we have a connector for an M.2 MVMe type SSD disk and a bay to mount a 2.5 ″ SATA disk internally.

Other specs

Within this mini PC we have in terms of wireless connectivity we have an optional wireless adapter, although we recommend buying a Wi-Fi 6 (AX) + Bluetooth 5.0 module for less than $16 and being up-to-date in wireless connectivity. The connectors that we find in the box are 4 USB 3.0 ports, 4 USB 2.0 ports, 2 3.5 mm audio jack, Gigabit Ethernet connector, an HDMI 2.0 and a VGA. The barebone version comes without an operating system, although as usual it is compatible with Windows 10 and Linux.
