Anbernic RG Cube a retro console with 1:1 screen

We already have all the details of the new retro console Anbernic RG Cube, a portable that stands out for its screen with 1:1 format.

A 3.95 inch 1:1 screen that is designed to run certain systems such as GB, GBA, DS, 3DS PS2, Gamecube or vertical Arcades, in other systems the experience will be greatly diminished by the poor use of this screen. Inside, we find the UNISOC T820 processor that would be close to the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 that mounts the new Retroid Pocket 4pro. A chip capable of running even Nintendo Wii and PS2 games and accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of high-speed storage memory.

The operating system is Android 13 and its joysticks with RGB lights and adjustable brightness stand out in its design.

Specifications of the Anbernic RG Cube

Inside the Anbernic RG Cube we have as engine the recent UNISOC T820 processor manufactured in 6nm EUV. This chip is an Octa Core with one ARM Cortex-A76 processor reaching 2.7GHz, 3 Cortex-A76 reaching 2.3GHz and 4 ARM CORTEX-A55 with maximum speed of 2.1GHz. The GPU is an ARM Mali-G57 that reaches 850 Mhz maximum speed, and note that this SoC comes with a fan to keep temperatures under control.

For RAM, we have a single version with 8 GB LPDDR4X. Storage is 128 GB high-speed UFS 2.2. We also have a micro SD card reader with support for up to 2 TB.

Display and other notable features

Its display is a 3.95-inch OCA touch IPS with a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels. We have Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity, vibration motor, gyroscope, 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB-C for charging, data and DisplayPort video output.

The battery is 5200 mAh with conventional 10W charging and for audio we have two speakers. As you can see, the controls are a D-Pad, stylus, a pair of analogue sticks with LED lighting and four triggers.
