The new ANBERNIC RG VITA and RG Vita Pro retro consoles are now available in stores. These two consoles feature different configurations and a design modeled after the Sony Vita.
The ANBERNIC RG VITA and ANBERNIC RG VITA Pro retro consoles feature a horizontal design with the same control layout as the now-defunct VITA. Despite their nearly identical design, the two models differ significantly in their components. The basic version features a 5.46-inch HD display and a Unisoc T618 SoC, while the Pro version features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and a Rockchip RK3576 SoC. They also offer different RAM and storage configurations, but overall, they aren’t that different in terms of raw power.
By default, the device runs on the Android operating system, although in the Pro version, you can choose to install Linux. The Android version offers standalone emulators and slightly lower performance, but provides more usage options.

Specifications of the ANBERNIC RG VITA and RG VITA Pro
The new ANBERNIC RG VITA features the 12nm Unisoc T618 Octa-Core SoC, with two ARM Cortex-A75 cores capable of reaching 2.0 GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 cores up to 2.0 GHz, and an ARM Mali-G52 MP3 GPU that reaches 850 MHz. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, plus an extra microSD slot to install more games up to 2 TB.
On the other hand, the ANBERNIC RG VITA Pro features the Rockchip RK3576 SoC with two clusters: four ARM Cortex-A72 cores reaching a maximum speed of 2.2 GHz and four ARM Cortex-A53 cores up to 1.8 GHz. The iGPU this time is an ARM Mali-G52 MC3. It includes 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, with the option to expand via microSD. The hardware is slightly more powerful than the standard version, particularly in terms of the GPU.

The ANBERNIC RG VITAfeaturesa 5.46-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It features dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0. It has a 5000 mAh battery that provides about 8 hours of use at medium brightness, a pair of speakers, a gyroscope, and a vibration motor. The operating system is Android 12 with a custom UI.
The ANBERNIC RG VITA Pro model features a slightly larger 5.5-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It features dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. It comes with a 5000 mAh battery that will last about 7 hours at medium brightness, and it includes a pair of speakers, a gyroscope, and a vibration motor. The operating system is Android 14 and Linux with a dual-boot system.
