The retro console Anbernic RG406V is now available in stores, a machine with a very neat design in vertical format in the style of the classic Game Boy.
This little machine is powered by the UNISOC T620 processor used in tablets, which is an update of the UNISOC T616 with clock improvements in its ARM Cortex-A75 cores and GPU, something that we will surely notice when running games up to PS2. This console in 4-inch vertical format includes Android 13 so we have access to the entire Google app store where we can download all kinds of games and emulators.
We have a generous 8 GB RAM supported by 128 GB of high-speed UFS storage. It is also capable of outputting 1080p DisplayPort video through its USB-C port, so we can connect it to any TV, an extra that never hurts.

This Android console is powered by a UNISOC T620 processor manufactured in 12 nm. This chip is an Octa Core that includes 2 high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 2.2 GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 1.8 GHz and an ARM Mali-G57 MP1 GPU that reaches 850 Mhz. A processor that is cooled by a small fan supported by a system of pipes.
Soldered on the motherboard we find 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and for storage we have 128 GB of UFS 2.2 memory that we can expand by the micro SD card reader up to 2 TB additional.
Other features
The panel of the RG406V console is an IPS OCA with a size of 4 inches and a resolution of 960×720 pixels. As for controls, we have a configuration with two HALL sticks with LED lighting, crosshead, four buttons, four triggers and other function keys. The connectors we find are a USB Type-C OTG and a 3.5 mm audio jack for connecting headphones.
This console offers Wifi 5 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, gyroscope, vibration, two speakers and a 5500 mAh battery that provides up to 8 hours of autonomy according to the brand.
