AndroidTV and remote controller with voice in the new X88 mini

It seems that it is already official and the Chinese TV-Boxes with Android TV as OS already pass to the level of biblical plague since we do not stop locating new equipment day by day. Today we have the new X88 Mini, this time based on the RK3328 SoC of Rockchip and that also includes a remote control with microphone with which we can perform searches on Android TV. This is TV-Box with a correct configuration but without a brand behind that supports it minimally.

SoC, RAM and storage

Inside the TVBox X88 Mini we found the RK3328 SoC that integrates four ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a Mali-450mp2 GPU that includes native H.265 and VP9 video decoding up to 4K@60fps resolutions with support for HLG HDR. It also has 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16 GB of eMMc storage memory that can be extended by adding a memory card in the included microSD card reader. A SoC that goes quite well as a multimedia player and with KODI but with a GPU a bit fair for latest generation games in maximum detail.

Other specifications

The wireless connectivity of this TV-Box is only for WiFi b/g/n since it does not include Bluetooth. On the sides of the plastic box we have distributed all the connectors, a USB 3.0 port, another USB 2.0, 10/100 network connector, analog AV jack and an HDMI 2.0a port. Finally comment that the OS is Android TV based on Android 7.1.
