New version of the AOOSTAR G-FLIP mini PC, this time with the AMD Ryzen 7 H 225 processor, offering a much more affordable price.
This PC is a version of the first AOOSTAR G-FLIP, which was equipped with an extremely expensive Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor. The most striking feature of this machine is its 5.5″ FullHD folding screen. It is now powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 H 225 octa-core processor, which reaches up to 5.1 GHz and includes an AI core that achieves 58 TOPS of power. The graphics solution is the Radeon 780M GPU, which operates at up to 2.6 GHz and is manufactured with RDNA3 architecture, allowing it to play quite a few demanding titles.
This mini-computer offers an OCulink port with speeds of up to 64 Gbps and support for connecting an external GPU, improving on the performance of USB4, which remains at 40 Gbps.

This PC with screen integrates an AMD Ryzen 7 H 225 processor manufactured by TSMC in 4nm. An Octa Core AMD Ryzen 7 255 chip manufactured in 4 nm with Zen4 technology. An Octa Core with sixteen threads, with a maximum speed of5.1 GHz and an NPU with 58 TOPS. It includes a powerful 12-coreRadeon 780M iGPU that reaches a speed of 2.6 GHz. Hardware with which we can run any demanding design app and medium-level games.
In terms of RAM, it allows modules to be installed in its two SODIMM DDR5 5600 MT/s slots in Dual Channel, expandable up to 128 GB. For storage, it offers two M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0×4 SSD slots, which combined offer a capacity of 8 TB.
Other notable features
Connectivity includes a Wi-Fi 6adapter and Bluetooth 5.2. The box has a 3.5 mm audio jack, four USB-A 3.2 ports, an OCulink port for connecting an eGPU up to 64 Gbps, a full USB4 port up to 40 Gbps, and two high-speed 2.5 GB Ethernet network connectors. There is also an HDMI 2.1 video output and another DisplayPort 2.1 with 8K@60 HDR support, allowing us to connect up to three displays simultaneously.
In terms of the operating system, it comes with Windows 11 Pro, but it is also compatible with Linux distributions. The machine also offers fingerprint unlocking on its top power button.

- The new AOOSTAR G-FLIP 255 mini PC will soon be available on AliExpress and Amazon for around $469 / €425 in its barebone version without RAM or disk.
