This attractive NAS with integrated mini PC stands out for its case and has a front LCD panel. In this equipment, we can install 7 removable disks frontally and mount 4 NVMe PCIe fixedly on the board. As engine, we find the efficient AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS eight-core processor supported by an NPU for AI with 38 TOPS of power. This interesting NAS and mini PC features AMD Ryzen R7 8845HS Octa Core processor with sixteen threads, speed up to 5.1 GHz and an NPU for AI up to 38 TOPS. It includes a powerful 12-core Radeon 780M iGPU that reaches a speed of 2.7 GHz. A processor manufactured in 4 nm with Zen 4/4c technology. With which we can move any demanding application, manage many files or perform tasks with heavy calculations.
As for RAM, we can mount up to 92 GB DDR5 in SODIMM memory. As storage, if we add all the units mounting 4 TB disks it is possible to reach up to 77 TB in total.
Other features
For network connectivity we find a Wifi 6 adapter , Bluetooth 5.2, two RJ45 10 GB network ports and two RJ45 2.5G. In the box we also have 3 USB 3.2 ports, one USB Type-C, one USB4 up to 40Gbps, 3.5 mm audio jack and two video outputs HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4. In total we have 3 simultaneous video outputs up to 8K@60fps resolutions with HDR.
The AOOSTAR WTR MAX is powered by an external 12V power supply. Windows 11 Pro is installed by default, although we can install Linux or a specific distribution to use it as a file server.
