Apotronics D30 new 15000 Lumens short throw 4K UHD laser projector

It seems that high-end laser projectors are having a good start in China, as we do not stop seeing new models every few minutes and today we have the Apotronics D30, a high-end short-throw  4K UHD projector.

Its metal body stands out, which hides inside an audio system with a power of 40 W with support for DTS and Dolby Audio with the FAA improvement engine and a specific Chip for it. The optimizations are also in the video, since it includes its own technologies for the improvement and optimization of the image in all its aspects under the name of FAV.

The operating system is FengOS based on Android 9.0 although at the moment in the absence of a global version it is only available in Chinese and perhaps English. The Apotronics D30 is controlled by a Bluetooth remote control with voice functions and on the chassis we find 4 microphones to be able to give remote commands.

 

Projector Specifications

The Apotronics D30 optics utilize ALPD 3.0 laser technology with a native resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, a brightness of 12,500 ANSI Lumens, and a contrast of 1500: 1. The focus and the keystone correction are automatic, and we can achieve a screen that ranges between 150 and 300 inches with a projection distance that starts from only 14 cm.

In the Apotronics D30 we have a Quad Core Amlogic T972 SoC manufactured in 12nm FinFet with ARM Cortex-A55 processors capable of reaching 1.9 Ghz and an ARM MALI-G31 MP2 GPU. It also includes 3 GB of DDR4 RAM, 64 GB of eMMc storage memory, Dual-band Wi-Fi aC, and Bluetooth 4.2.

In the area of ​​connectors, we find three HDMI 2.0 ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack, SPIDF digital audio output, RJ-45 Gigabit network connector, an RS-232 and finally two USB 2.0 ports.
