There are very few Thin Mini-ITX plates on the market, so we like to echo the new products that are coming out with this system. As usual, the ASRock brand is the most active in the type of boards and today presents us with the ASRock B460TM-ITX and H410TM-ITX models with support for 10th generation Intel processors with Socket 1200.
A type of boards destined in principle to be installed inside All-in-one monitors but that are a good alternative to mount a HTPC or mini PC of very contained dimensions in extremely low profile boxes.
Processor, RAM and storage
The new ASRock B460TM-ITX and H410TM-ITX boards include B460 and H410 controllers respectively, two similar products that basically differ in the ability to mount a RAID 0/1 for the B460 model. The maximum RAM memory that can be mounted is 64 GB in two SO-DIMM DDR4 2933MHz, in the storage section we have two SATA connectors and housing a NVMe 2280 disk. These boards have a power connector integrated in the board, and we only need a 19V portable DC adapter to power them.
Other specifications
On these motherboards we also have an M.2 connector where we can mount a communication card with Wi-Fi + Bluetooth. Regarding connectivity, we find in the box 4 USB 3.0 ports, RJ-45 Gigabit network connector, a pair of 3.5 mm audio jacks, double HDMI video output one of them internal, COM port and LVDS video connector.
Price and availability
- The ASRock B460TM-ITX and H410TM-ITX boards are not yet priced or dated but are expected to be available soon at stores such as Amazon for approximately $100/150.
