ASUS has just presented a new family of compact PCs oriented to the professional world called ASUS Mini PC PB60V. Devices that highlights for their small size, only 175 x 175 x 34mm and possibility of modular expansion that allows you to install storage units of all types, including optical and even a graphics card. These computers are designed to work 24/7 have metal chassis and work with Windows 10 Pro. A solution designed for the business world but that can also be valid for users looking for a high quality equipment.
Processor, RAM and storage
The ASUS Mini PC PB60V can include Intel Core i7-8700T / i5-8500T processors and are cooled by a small fan. They include a pair of SODIMM slots for up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, an M.2 port for SSD storage drives and a 2.5″ bay for SATA3 devices.
Other specifications
At the level of connectors on the front we have a couple of audio jacks have a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C, two USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, one with support Battery charging up to 5V / 7.5W. On the back we find an external Wifi antenna connector, 2 USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.1 Gen2, Gigabit network port, a Display Port, HDMI 2.0 and a Kensington anchor. This mini PC includes a small modular port where you can optionally install a COM port, VGA or other DisplayPort. It will also count internally with a WiFi aC module and Bluetooth 5.0.

- At the moment we have no price for the ASUS Mini PC PB60V, its launch will take place shortly.
So it’s been three months now and still no sign of the PB60V in the UK.
Asus and their mysteries… maybe just vapour product.
