The ASUS brand , in its NUC range, presents its new mini PC ASUS NUC 13 Rugged fully fanless solution with numerous connectors.
This mini PC is available with two case designs, both made of aluminum that function as a large heat sink, one with fins and one flatter. Inside the finned version we find the Alder Lake-N Intel Atom x7211E and Intel Atom x7425E processors, while for the model without fins we have the Intel N50 chip, which varies little from the Atom.
In addition to its design, this small computer also stands out for its great connectivity options and also for allowing a good number of storage units.
ASUS NUC 13 Rugged Mini PC Specifications
The ASUS NUC 13 Rugged mini PC offers low-power processors of the latest generation Intel with power consumption between 6 and 12 W TPD, manufactured in 10 nm (Intel 7). A chip sufficient for office applications, machine management or digital signage, the areas for which it is designed.

For RAM we have a SODIMM DDR5 4800 MHz slot with capacity up to 16 GB. It also includes two SSD slots, one M.2 2280 PCIe x2 NVMe and another M.2 3042 Slot (SATA SSD/PCI x1/USB3.2 Gen2), we also have integrated 64 GB eMMC that will carry the OS, but we recommend not to use because they are very slow.
Other notable features
For network connectivity we find two 2.5G Ethernet ports and Wifi 6E Bluetooth 5.2 adapter with two external antennas. As for connectors we find on the front of the case, 2 USB-C 3.2 Gen2 ports, 2 USB-A 2.0 and 2 HDMI 2.1 video outputs that allow 4K@60fps video playback without problems.
In this mini PC we can install Windows 11 Pro and also any Linux distribution. Its dimensions are 174 x 108 x 36 mm for the finned model and 26 mm high for the model without fins.
