This small machine debuts the new Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors presented at CES. In this case , we have the top-of-the-line Intel Core Ultra X9 Processor 388H manufacturedwith the 18A process , an integrated processor that allows us to perform any type of heavy calculation. As a graphics solution, it integrates the new Intel Arc B390 iGPU with new-generation Xe3 cores, a top competitor to high-end integrated AMD GPUs, something Intel had not achieved in a long time.
Intel’s new processors offer 40-50% improved performance, and in terms of AI, they don’t waste resources, as they maintain the figures of the previous generation in less space.
ASUS NUC 16 Pro Specifications
This new mini PC in its most powerful version will feature theIntel Core Ultra X9 388H, with a 16-core configuration (4P 8E 4LPE) up to 5.1 GHz with variable power consumption up to 65 W. The GPU is an Intel Arc B390 that integrates 12 Xe3 cores up to 2.5 GHz with image and performance enhancements withXeSS. It also integrates an NPU for artificial intelligence tasks up to 50 TOPS. There will also be more economical versions with Intel Core Ultra X7 358H, Intel Core Ultra 7 356H, and Intel Core Ultra 5 325.
For RAM, there is up to 96 GB of integrated LPDDR5 reaching9600 MT/s in Dual Channel. For storage, there are two connectors for high-speed 2280 NVMe PCIe 5.0 SSDs up to 4 TB.
Other notable features
In terms of connectivity, there is a Wi-Fi 7 wireless adapter , Bluetooth 6, and two 2.5G RJ45 ports. There are four USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, one USB-C 3.2 Gen2 port, a 3.5 mm combo audio jack, and two HDMI 2.1 video outputs. At the rear, there are two full USB4 (Thunderbolt 4) ports up to 40 Gbps for connecting an external GPU. In total, up to four 8K displays can be connected at once.
The operating system is Windows 11 Pro if purchased with RAM and SSD drive, but Linux can be installed. The dimensions are 117 mm x 144 mm x 42 mm, and it has VESA support. The 120-50 W power supply is external and has a DC connector.
