ASUS PL64 new passive mini PC with robust design

The ASUS brand offers us a new mini PC ASUS PL64, a fully passive computer with lots of ports and connectivity options.

The new ASUS PL64 integrates Intel Core i7-1255U, i5-1235U, i3-1215U processors as options, which offer the Intel Iris Xe GPU. There is also a simpler option with Intel Celeron 7305 processor with Intel HD Graphics GPU. Less powerful. This computer with fanless design has a metal case that is used as a heatsink, in the front and side area we have all the connectors, a design focused on industrial use without a doubt.


ASUS PL64 i5-1235U Specifications

The new ASUS PL64 offers Intel Core i7-1255U, i5-1235U, i3-1215U processors with integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU, all of which have multiple high-performance and low power consumption cores.  On the other hand, the very low-power Intel Celeron 7305 processor offers an Intel HD Graphics GPU that is significantly lower than the Xe. These 7 nm processors have a power consumption between 15 to 55 W TPD.

Inside the case we have two Dual Channel DDR4 RAM slots that can be expanded up to 64 GB. For the storage, we have two M.2 NVMe PCie 2280 SSD slots that can be used simultaneously.

Other features

In the networking section we can mount an internal M.2 card with Wifi 6/6E + Bluetooth 5, we also have a Gigabit Ethernet port and another Ethernet 2.5 GB port. As connectors, we find distributed between its front and rear we have five USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, two COM RJ50 ports (RS232, 422, 485) and 3.5 mm audio jack. There are also three HDMI 2.0 video outputs capable of resolutions up to 4K@60Hz.

As installed operating system we can install Windows 11 or Linux which are compatible. An external power supply is included and is compatible with VESA support for installation behind any monitor.
