BDF A708 3G an ultra low-end tablet with 3G and Spreadtrum SoC

It seems that some Chinese manufacturers do not learn and is that attacking the physical and mental health of consumers has its consequences in the medium term. This we saw years ago when tablets of very low price and quality flooded the market like a Tsunami and they managed to win very bad reputation. The BDF A708 3G is a 7″ tablet with a very low quality because it only includes a 512 MB of RAM, a low quality TN screen and a 3G modem with few bands, a nonsense specs and more having 7-inch tablets like the Amazon models.

SoC and memories

The BDF A708 3G tablet includes as engine the SoC Spreadtrum SC7731C a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A7 processors and a Mali-400mp2 GPU, a product already quite outdated. It also includes 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of storage memory that can be expanded at least thanks to the included microSD card reader. A configuration that is too short to move Android decently beyond four basic apps.

Screen and other features

The screen of the BDF A708 3G is a 7-inch TN LCD and a resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels that includes a front camera of 0.3 MP that accompanies the “main” back also 0.3MP including flash. Internally we have wifi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 2000 mAh battery, FM radio and modem with connectivity for 2G / 3G networks.

The operating system is Android 6.0, on the connections side this tablet has a microUSB OTG port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
