Beelink BT3 – X a new fanless miniPC with low consumption

New miniPC of the active Chinese brand Beelink that this time presents us a fanless low consumption device called Beelink BT3 – X as always with Windows 10 as operating system. A miniPC based on the Intel Celeron J3355 processor of the Apollo Lake family, which stands out for its ease of expansion of external storage as it has SATA3 and M.2 ports. The version that we found has 4GB of RAM although it seems that we will have versions without RAM and with 8GB.

Basic review

As a quick review the Beelink BT3 – X you can be compared it with similar models that we have review at the hardware level. This mini PC allows us to use it as a basic media player with KODI or LibreELEC, we can also run simple games without too many 3D pretensions or emulators. In these small computers we can play Netflix FullHD and other streaming services without problems, we can run Office, Browse the net and use applications with basic load without problems.

Processor, RAM and storage

Beelink BT3 – X includes an Apollo lake processor manufactured in 14nm Intel Celeron J3355 Dual Core that includes an Intel HD Graphics 500 GPU. It also includes 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of eMMc storage memory, although fortunately this time we have a port M.2 SSD and another SATA3 port with a bay to install a 2.5-inch storage unit.

Other specifications

For wireless networks the Beelink BT3 – X low consumption miniPC includes WiFi Dual Band AC and Bluetooth 4.0. At the port level we find 4 USB 3.0 ports, 3.5mm front audio jack, microSD card reader, Gigabit Ethernet port and a pair of HDMI 1.4b video outputs with a maximum resolution of 4K at 30fps.

It also includes Kensington anchor chassis and have VESA included by default.
