Today we present a new and useful peripheral from Beelink, the Beelink Expand M a device that combines a multi-port USB Type-C Hub with M.2 SSD storage inside.
This is an interesting option for those who require both increased connectivity and a fast storage drive at the same time. This model is similar to other USB Hubs of this type are oriented to MacBook or Ultrabooks from brands like Lenovo, where we only have one or two USB-C ports available. Thanks to the design of this HUB we can use it by activating the storage or just using its ports by pressing the top M button.
This new Beelink Expand M Hub is available in several versions in which the capacity of its internal M.2 SSD disk varies, as we have options with 128, 256 or 512 GB. The installed SSD disk has a read speed of 440 MB/s and a write speed of 407 MB/s, a unit in M.2 format that offers maximum compatibility to store everything we want at a good speed. At the top we find the M button that allows us to disable the SSD, the green color indicates on and blue off.
As for connections we have the usual options that we can find in this type of HUB’s, we have an HDMI 1.4 port with 4K@30Hz output resolution, two USB 3.0 ports, USB-C connector for power supply up to 100 W PD compatible and a 120 mm USB-C male cable to connect to our laptop. The measurements are 115 x 40 x 11 mm, weighs 60 grams and has a front status led.
