We already have for sale the new TV-Box Beelink GTmini-A, a version of the recent Beelink GT1 mini and that has an identical hardware configuration where stands out the new Amlogic S905X2 SoC. This version incorporates as a novelty the Android TV 8 system, fly mouse control with microphone compatible with Google Assistant and support for Netflix 4K as we saw in the recent Beelink GT1-A. Soon we will have a unit to see first hand how this new model is defended in one of our reviews.
SoC, RAM and storage
As we say the Beelink GTmini-A includes the SoC of AMlogic S905X2, a Quad Core that reaches up to 1.8 GHz and integrates a powerful GPU Mali-G31 MP2. As a novelty in video playback we have a new VPU with TruLife Gen8 that integrates specific hardware to encode and decode h.265 and VP9 codecs. For now we have the versions that integrate on board 2/4 GB of DDR4 RAM and 32/64GB of eMMc storage memory that can be extended from the microSD card reader included in this equipment.
The Android TV-Box Beelink GTmini-A includes wireless connectivity Wifi dual-band AC and Bluetooth 4.0. The connectors included in the plastic box are a USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0, analog audio and video port, a Gigabit Ethernet connector and an HDMI 2.1 video output with 4K @ 75fps support with HDR up to Dolby vision.
