Beelink GTR5 is the new mini PC of the Beelink brand that integrates the powerful AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor, a PC that repeats the design of the Beelink SER3 that we saw recently in a review.
This mini PC offers all the power of the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX Octa Core APU with 16 threads and a Vega 8 GPU. Undoubtedly this small computer stands out for the design of its case with a good cooling system, its fingerprint reader and also offers very good internal expansion options with the possibility of mounting two internal M.2 disks and a 2.5″ SATA. On the front we also have a USB Type-C connector that even supports video output.
Processor, RAM and storage
This Beelink GTR5 mini PC can be found in various stores with different names, but they all include the same options. Above all stands out the powerful AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX APU manufactured in 7 nm, an Octa Core with 16 threads capable of reaching 4.6 Ghz in turbo mode and with a base frequency of 3.3 Ghz. The integrated GPU is a VEGA 8 with a top speed of 2.1 Ghz.
Inside this small we have 16/32 GB of Crucial 3200MHz RAM in 2 SODIMM RAM slots, while for storage we find a 512 GB Kingston M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD, we have space for another M.2 SATA 2280 and we also have space for a 2.5-inch storage unit with SATA3 interface.
Other specifications
For network connectivity, we have an internal M.2 card with Wifi 6 + Bluetooth 5 and two Ethernet ports, one of them 2.5 Gbps. As connectors we find distributed between its front and rear 3 USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0, a USB Type-C 3.2, 3.5 mm audio jack, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2, all with video output capability up to 4K@60Hz resolutions.
On the top we have a fingerprint reader to unlock Windows and on the front two microphones for Cortana voice control. It has two powerful fans on the bottom that promise a low sound to keep temperatures at bay at any time.
This small computer comes with Windows 11 installed as standard and external power supply.
