The distinctive Beelink ME mini PC NAS is now available, a sleekly designed device that can accommodate up to 6 NVMe drives.
A small machine that allows us to store up to 24 TB of information in its six NVMe SSD drives. As engine, we have the Intel N150 processor , a chip that you can read our comparison with all the details. Also, noteworthy in its design is the integration of the power supply and the lower fan that cools the whole assembly. Undoubtedly this is a very flexible solution for those who want something versatile, and thanks to its connectors we can also use it as a soft router.
As operating system we can install a Linux distribution , OpenWRT to use it as a soft router and also Windows 11. A device that also serves as a complete multimedia center for our living room TV and use it as a player directly.
Beelink ME mini Specifications
This new Beelink offers the Intel N150 (Twin Lake-N) processor manufactured in 10 nm with four cores and four execution threads, reaching 3.6 GHz. In terms of graphics power, we have the integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24EU supporting VP9 and h.265 video codecs up to 4K@60fps. This processor allows us to use the device as a server, media player and full PC.
For RAM we have 12 GB LPDDR5 4800 MHz soldered. For storage we have 5x M.2 2280 PCle3.0 x1, it is not the interface with the fastest speed, but it is enough for multimedia. On the board we also have 64 GB eMMC where the OS is housed, but we recommend changing it to an NVMe to increase the speed of the system.
Other notable features
It includes for Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity plus two 2.5 GB Ethernet ports for use as a high-speed router. On the back of the case we have a USB 2.0 connector, HDMI 2.0 video output with 4K@60fps HDR support and a DC power connector. On the front we have the power button, USB-A 3.2, USB-C 3.2 and LED status lights.
On this PC it is easy to install operating systems such as Linux, OpenWRT, iKuai, LEDE or even Windows 11 if we want to use it with more conventional desktop apps. A computer that in addition to NAS, can also be used to play multimedia, IPTV, KODI addons, SAMBA server or run emulators up to a certain level. The dimensions are only 99 x 99 x 99 mm.
