The new compact NAS Beelink ME Pro is now available, a machine with an attractive design that offers the possibility of mounting up to 5 combined disks.
This machine is the big brother of the Beelink ME mini and this time we have a more premium design. In this case we can mount two 3.5″ drives and three NVMe 2280 in the lower area. In addition, we have two 5G 2 .5G Ethernet ports to mount a high-speed network in our home. As a curiosity, as explained in its presentation in the lower area we have an interchangeable motherboard, in theory in the future we can upgrade it with Intel, AMD or Arm processors, but everything will depend on its success.
We have an aluminum case with rounded shapes and a front with a very attractive mesh effect. It reminds us of Marshall amplifiers in its exterior grille design.
Main specifications of the Beelink ME Pro
This new Beelink ME Pro now offers us two processors, we have the Intel N95 Quad Core with 4 Threads capable of reaching up to 3.4 Ghz. The GGPU integrated in this processor is an Intel UHD with 16EU. We also have the Intel N150 manufactured in 10 nm with four cores and four threads, reaching 3.6 GHz. In terms of graphics power, we have the integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24EU. This processor allows us to use the device as a server, desktop PC and 4K HDR media player.
As RAM memory we have versions with 12/16 GB LPDDR5 4800 MHz, we will not be able to expand it, as they are soldered on the board. By default as storage we have a 128/512/1TB NVMe disk for the OS, then we are left with all other available disks up to 62 TB combined.
Available storage and ports
Included for Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity plus two 2.5G 5G Ethernet ports for use as a high-speed router. On the back of the case we have one USB 3.2, two USB 2.0, USB-C (data), HDMI 2.0 with 4K@60fps HDR support and a DC power connector.
On this NAS we can install operating systems such as Linux, OpenWRT, iKuai, LEDE or even Windows 11 if we want to use it with more conventional desktop apps. A computer that in addition to NAS, can also be used to play multimedia, IPTV, KODI addons, SAMBA server or run emulators up to a certain level of performance. The average dimensions are 166 x 121 x 112 mm.
