Beelink S2 with Gemini Lake N5000 processor and 8GB of RAM now on sale

Ya tenemos a la venta el nuevo Beelink S2, un miniPC muy interesante que incluye un procesador Intel de la generación Gemini Lake y que es muy similar al Alfawise T1 que vimos hace unos días. Esta mini PC pasiva tiene dos versiones donde destaca el modelo con procesador Intel Pentium Silver N5000 que integra un disco SSD en lugar de la memoria eMMC convencional, también podemos obtener video en formato 4K@60fps usando sus dos puertos HDMI 2.0.

Processor, RAM and storage

In terms of specifications the Beelink S2 includes a more powerful version with Intel Pentium N5000 processor with four x86 cores capable of reaching 2.70Ghz in turbo mode, includes an Intel UHD Graphics 605 GPU with 18EU with a maximum speed of 700mhz , the simplest model on the other hand mounts the Intel Celeron N4100 processor with 4 x86 cores capable of reaching 2.40Ghz in turbo mode and including an Intel UHD Graphics 600 with 12EU GPU and a maximum speed of 700Mhz and that is capable to play video 4K@60fps. The power consumption of these processors is 6 W TPD and has passive cooling.

In the model S2 N5000 we have 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 128 GB SSD, in the S2 N4100 model we have 4 GB of RAM and integrated eMMC memory of 64 GB internal storage, we also have a 2,5″disk bay and a M.2 slot, with no doubt many options to expand internal storage.

Connectivity and other features

In terms of connectivity, the two models share specifications, in the wireless section we have Wifi Dual Band aC and also Bluetooth 4.0. As for ports we are on the front with two USB 3.0 and another Type-C, microphone compatible with the Windows assistant Cortana, status LED, power button and microSD card reader. On the back we have a reset for BIOS, Kensington lock, DC port, two HDMI 2.0 video outputs, Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 2.0 connectors and audio jack with support for headphones with microphone.

The operating system is Windows 10 Home and the box, plastic on the back two threads for the VESA support that is included, also include two HDMI cables one long and one short in case we hang it.
