Today has been presented the new Blackview Tab 5 a very compact tablet thanks to its 8-inch screen size that we can take anywhere.
This tablet offers the Rockchip RK3326S SoC, a processor that we have not seen in many tablets, although it seems that Rockchip is recovering in this sector. An entry-level product that wants to compete in the little crowded 8″ sector.
A simple product that allows us to navigate and consume multimedia in a basic way, the specifications are not very cutting edge, but may be enough for many.
Blackview Tab 5 tablet specifications
The new Blackview Tab5 includes the Rockchip RK3326S SoC. This chip is a Quad Core made with 4 ARM Cortex-A35 processors capable of reaching a maximum speed of 1.5 Ghz. In the graphics section we have a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU quite well known in the low end.
We also have integrated 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM (expandable to virtual 5 GB) and 64 GB of storage memory that we can expand thanks to the micro SD card reader included.
Screen and other specifications
The touchscreen of this Blackview Tab 5 is an 8-inch IPS display with an HD+ resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and includes on top a 0.3 MP camera with microphone that complements the 2 MP rear with flash. We also have WiFi b/g/n, no data on Bluetooth, we have GPS and 4G Dual SIM modem.
Finally in the connectivity section we have a 3.5 mm audio jack, micro SD and a USB-C OTG port for data and battery recharging. In terms of operating system we have Android 12, which gives us a slightly longer life. The weight of the tablet is only 355 grams. It integrates a 5580 mAh battery that theoretically lets us watch up to 8 hours of movies.
