Android 7.1 and FHD quality for the BlitzWolf BW-VP portable projector

New projector that we found in launch offer in the Chinese store Banggood.com under the umbrella of its brand called BlitzWolf BW-VP. This is a small portable projector that includes an internal 7.4v-4000mAh battery that will give us a projection range of around 1.5 hours.

Its 2x3W audio system can also be used autonomously since it includes bluetooth and we can connect it to any external source such as a smartphone. As an Operating System we have Android 7.1.2 powered by a Rockchip RK3368 Octa Core SoC, which although somewhat old is superior to the average found in many Chinese projectors and which can move any app with dignity and play video without problems.

Projector Specifications

The optics of the BlitzWolf BW-VP projector uses 0.23-inch DLP-DMD technology with a native resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, a brightness of 300 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 5000: 1. Focus like keystone correction are automatic and we can achieve a screen that goes between 50 and 300 “with a projection distance that goes between 1 and 8m. Finally, note that at the top we have touch keys to operate it in addition to the included IR remote control.

Connections and other features

Inside the BlitzWolf BW-VP projector we have as core an Octa Core Rockchip RK3368 SoC that has ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a PowerVR G6110 GPU GPU. We also find on board 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can increase thanks to an included microSD card reader.

This projector also includes Dual Band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, while at the connector level we find an HDMI 1.4 IN port, a 3.5mm audio jack and finally two USB 2.0 ports.
