Today we present the new ultrabook BMAX Y13, the older brother, now with a 13.3″ screen, of the BMAX Y11 and that follows the trail in design and performance. As its small brother this convertible is focused on mobility with only weight 1.2Kg, aluminum body and a Yoga-rotatable screen that allows adopting multiple positions.The improvements with respect to the smaller screen model are not too many but we find a backlit keyboard, a larger capacity battery and changes in connectivity.
Processor, RAM and storage
The BMAX Y13 includes an Intel Celeron N4100 processor, a chip with four x86 cores capable of reaching 2.40 GHz in turbo mode, which includes an Intel UHD Graphics 600 GPU with 12EU. We also have 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, a 256 GB M.2 SSD that we can easily replace with a larger capacity one and a microSD card reader.
Display and other specifications
The screen of the BMAX Y13 is a touch IPS with narrow frames and 13.3 inches with FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels that includes on its top a 1MP webcam with microphone. We also have WiFi aC dual-band connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0 and a fast-charging battery that lasts between 6 and 8 hours according to advertising. As for connectors we have two USB Type-C ports, 3.5mm audio jack and a dedicated charging port.
