Today we’re looking at a unique machine called the BOSGAME VTA-439, which stands out for its exterior design and internal configuration.
This uniquely designed machine is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX470 processor, replacing the HX 370; but the configuration remains the same, with 12 cores and 24 threads that now reach 5.2 GHz, plus an AI core that delivers up to 55 TOPS of performance. The graphics engine is the Radeon 890M GPU, which features cores based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture, delivering high performance. This new version in the series comes in an aluminum case with a large number of ports around its perimeter.
This mini PC features an OCulink port with speeds of up to 64 Gbps, allowing us to connect an eGPU at maximum performance. With this additional hardware, we can play any demanding AAA title.
BOSGAME VTA-439 Specifications
Powering this version of the BOSGAME VTA-439 is the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processor, manufactured by TSMC using an efficient 4-nm process. This chip features 12 cores 4 powerful Zen 5 cores and 8 power-efficient Zen 5C cores with 24 threads and a clock speed of up to 5.2 GHz. Naturally, it includes a 55 TOPS AI core for artificial intelligence tasks. It features aRadeon 890M GPU from the new RDNA 3.5 generation, with 16 Compute Units (CUs). There’s also a more affordable version available with the AMD Ryzen Ultra X7 358H.
By default, it comes with 32 GB of DDR5 RAM at 4800 MHz across two SODIMM slots. For storage, it includes a 1 TB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0×4 SSD, but you can add another one to reach up to 8 TB.
Ports and Operating System
In terms of connectivity, it features Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Connectors include a 3.5 mm audio jack, four USB-A 3.2 ports, one USB4 port (full-featured), and two 2.5 GB Ethernet ports. For video output, it offers an HDMI 2.1 port, a DisplayPort 2.0 port, and a USB4 port with DP 2.1 video output supporting 8K@60 HDR10, allowing you to connect up to three displays simultaneously.
This computer comes with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed, but you can also install Linux. It includes a small external power supply and VESA mounting support for attaching it to a monitor.
