We found today on AliExpress a new mini PC with the name of Chatreey IT12, an interesting computer with a fairly neat external design.
In this case we are facing a mini PC that offers us the powerful Intel Core i9-12900H, a beast is also capable of managing up to four independent screens thanks to its multiple connectors. This small computer also draws attention for its connectors, on the front we have a Thunderbolt 4 port that allows us to achieve data transmission speeds of up to 40 GB per second, output video up to 8K at 60 Hz and is able to offer up to 100 W load.
We also have a good storage expansion option, inside we have two NVMe PCIe 4.0×4 and PCIe 3.0×4 connectors in addition to a SATA 3 that allows us to put gigabytes cheaply.
Chatreey IT12 mini PC Specifications
The Chatreey IT12 mini PC comes with several processor options. The most powerful option is an Intel Core i9-12900H with 14 cores and 20 threads that moves between 3.8 and 5 GHz. In the graphics section we have an Intel Xe G7 GPU with 96 EU quite efficient compared to the AMD Vega. Although we also have cheaper options with Core i5-1240P that can be more economical. In any case the Core i9 is a very powerful solution if we require very demanding programs.
In the RAM memory section we have two SODIMM DDR4 slots where we can mount up to 64 GB of RAM 3200 Mhz. For storage we can mount two SSD disks in a PCIe 4.0×4 NVMe slot and another PCIe 3.0×4. We also have the option to mount another 2.5″ SATA3 drive to use cheaper disks.
Connectivity and other features
In terms of wireless connectivity, we have as standard a Wifi 6 + Bluetooth 5.2 adapter installed in the M.2 slot. In the field of connectors, in this mini PC we have available 4 USB 3.2 ports, 2 USB 2.0, a full Thunderbolt 4 on the front, two 3.5 mm audio jacks, two 2.5GB Ethernet connectors (intel i225-V), an HDMI 2.0 output and two DisplayPort 1.4 video outputs that support video output resolutions up to 4K@120fps.
As operating system, we have Windows 11, although we can install multiple versions of Linux. This mini PC offers a VESA mount to hang it on our monitor.

- The Chatreey IT12 mini PC can be purchased on AliExpress for $659 in its cheapest version in barebone format. A bit expensive if we compare it with other options already on sale.
