The well-known brand CHUWI continues to expand its portfolio of powerful mini PCs, now just presented its new compact CHUWI AuBox 8745.
A mini PC with an elegant aluminum unibody case that holds an Octa Core AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS processor that differs from the Ryzen 8845HS only by not having the NPU for AI enabled. In the graphics section we find a Radeon 780M iGPU with RDNA3 architecture that will allow us to play quite demanding titles, an interesting extra if we want to play casually without many constraints.
Despite its size of only 154 x 152 x 45 mm, its expansion capabilities and ports are surprising, as it includes 4 video outputs, a USB4 and capacity to expand storage and RAM up to 64 GB.
CHUWI AuBox 8745 Specifications
This compact PC integrates an AMD Ryzen R7 8745HS processor manufactured in 4 nm with Zen 4/4c technology. An Octa Core with sixteen threads, with a maximum speed of 4.9 GHz that has disabled the NPU. It includes a powerful 12-core Radeon 780M iGPU that reaches a speed of 2.6 GHz. A processor with which we can move any demanding design app. In addition, it includes a new anti-dust filter system and exclusive cooling system with vapor chamber.
In the RAM section we have 16 GB DDR5 5600 MHz Dual Channel and an SSD M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe x4 with 512 GB size. Inside this small case we can also mount another NVMe 2280 SSD under the large integrated aluminum heatsink.
Ports and system
In terms of wireless connectivity, in the CHUWI AuBox 8745 we find an adapter with Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. As connectors we have a 3.5 mm audio jack, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, two USB-A 3.2, a USB4 port (full), a USB-A 2.0, and two Ethernet 2.5 GB network connectors. As video outputs we have at our disposal a HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 with 8K@60 HDR support which gives us the possibility to connect up to 4 simultaneous displays adding the output of the USB4 interface and USB-C.
This small computer includes as system Windows 11 PRO. It includes a small external power supply of 120 W and VESA support.
