The new CHUWI AuPad Mini has just been unveiled in the East. It is an affordable and compact tablet thanks to its 8.7-inch screen with high resolution.
This tablet is powered by the Octa Core UNISOC T615 processor, which is slightly below the UNISOC T620, supported by 4 GB of RAM. As for the rest of its fairly basic hardware, it is worth mentioning the presence of a 4G-LTE modem, which allows us to use this handy tablet with mobile data anywhere with a SIM card.
The operating system is Android 15 in a fairly clean version, and, on the plus side, it includes Widevine L1 certification, so we can watch the main paid streaming apps in 1080p video quality, such as Netflix or Disney+.

Inside this new tablet, we find the UNISOC T615 processor manufactured in 12 nm by TSMC. This chip is an Octa Core that includes 2 high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 1.82 GHz and six ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 1.61 GHz. The iGPU is an ARM Mali-G57 MP1 that reaches 850 MHz.
Soldered onto the board, we find 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM that can be expanded with an extra 12 GB virtually using the storage memory. For storage, we have 128 GB of high-speed UFS 2.2 memory that can be expanded by up to an additional 1 TB using the microSD card reader.
Other notable features
This tablet has a large 10.1-inch IPS InCell touchscreen with a resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 350 nits. At the top of the screen, there is a 2 MP camera with a microphone that complements the main 5 MP rear camera with integrated flash.
This tablet has Wi-Fi 5 wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 4G modem with Dual SIM, and FM radio. Inside, there is a 5500 mAh battery, and in terms of connectors, there is a 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port for data. In terms of sound, this tablet is equipped with two stereo speakers with a Smart K amplifier that will give us decent audio.
