New version of the Chuwi CoreBook XPro laptop that significantly renews its screen with a new panel with a refresh rate that reaches 144Hz.
A very interesting renovation, which will result in a significant improvement in the quality of the display, and that we also see that it does not affect its price. The rest of the specifications are not touched in the Chuwi CoreBook XPro with a body made of aluminium, Intel Core i5-8259U processor that we have already seen in some of our reviews, a processor that stands out for its Intel Iris Plus 655 GPU, which is much higher than the traditional Intel HD Graphics.
Processor, RAM and storage
The Chuwi CoreBook XPro includes the Intel Core i5-8259U processor, a Quad Core with Eight threads that integrates an Intel Iris Plus 655 GPU, a set that reaches a consumption of 20/28 W TPD. A chip more than enough to move any program efficiently without performance problems, although heavy games are ruled out in this limited 3D GPU.
The RAM is 8 GB LPDDR4 2400 MHz, although it can be expanded thanks to the SO-DIMM slot accessible from the bottom, while for storage we have an M.2 NVMe SSD of 512 GB of expandable capacity with an M.2 2280 SATA SSD disk.
Other specs
The screen of the Chuwi CoreBook XPro is a 15.6-inch 144Hz IPS OGS with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a 16: 9 aspect ratio and in its upper frame we find a 1.0 MP webcam with microphone. For wireless connectivity, we have Wi-Fi aC and Bluetooth 4.2 with internal antenna.
